Pathways of Honor Campaign to Honor Those Who “Paved the Way”

The American Home Furnishings Hall of Fame Foundation is launching a Pathways of Honor campaign to honor individuals and companies in the walkways into its new permanent home, which opens on April 22 during the High Point Spring Market.

Families, friends and companies may honor someone who has helped to pave the way in their lives or careers by buying a commemorative brick in the Pathways of Honor.

“This is a great opportunity to honor that special family member, mentor, friend or organization that made a difference in your life – a coworker, former boss, your company or to note that you are a supporter of our noble industry,” says Karen McNeill, CEO and president of the Hall of Fame Foundation.

“As an eternal industry that will forever furnish homes around the world, the Ashley Furniture Eternal Flame will serve as a reminder of the enduring nature of the home furnishings industry and the unique position the home – and the furnishings that go in it – holds for the world.  With your brick or two, you will help welcome guests to the industry’s new home in the selfie that will go around the world.”

Each brick will be etched with your message and installed in the courtyard in front of the new Hall of Fame building, surrounding the Eternal Flame and courtyard.  Each brick may be purchased for $1,000 by going to www.bricksrus.com/donorsite/halloffame.

The Pathways of Honor will be located at the entrance to the building at 311 South Hamilton St. and will surround the Wanek family and Ashley Furniture Industries Eternal Flame, a gas burning flame that will flicker brightly day and night.  Both will be completed in in the fall in time for the October High Point Market.
