Doug E Fresh Will Perform Center Stage at Market, Saturday Night

The artist known as the “Human Beatbox” is considered a pioneer in the entertainment form, imitating drumbeats and other sounds without the aid of instruments. Fresh adds high energy rap-style vocals to his danceable beats. In 2021, Fresh released his tribute album, “This One’s for Chuck Brown.”

En Vogue, previously announced as the musical guests for Saturday's concert, were forced to cancel the date due to unforeseen circumstances.

On Sunday, the award-winning singer songwriter Chris Janson performs at Center Stage, drawing from his multi-platinum and gold records with hits like “Holdin Her” and “Buy Me a Boat.”

Both concerts are open to registered High Point Market attendees. A valid Spring 23 Market pass is required for entry. Doors open at 6:30pm with the concert beginning at 7pm. Early entry for buyers at 6:15pm. No one under the age of 15 will be allowed entry.

Complimentary food and beverage will be provided. Participating sponsors for Center Stage events are La Crema Wines and Ro Sham Beaux, and the Interior Design Society (IDS).

Center Stage is an outdoor event venue situated between Showplace and the Transportation Terminal.
