Dorel Home, a segment of Dorel Industries Inc., and in ready-to-assemble furnishings for the entire home, is prioritizing adjustability, organization, and aesthetics in its lineup of products aimed to aid in storage solutions.
The product lineup, available in the company’s High Point showroom (Commerce & Design Building, 8N and 9A on Floors 8 and 9) is centered around the RealRooms, Little Seeds, and NTense brands – all of which incorporate new designs and features to enhance basic storage solutions.
The company is debuting the Ameriwood Home Elba Modular Closet collection made up of four products: Elba Open Shelf and Hanging Clothing Rod Unit, Elba 3 Drawer Unit, Elba Vanity Unit, and the Elba 2 Door 2 Drawer Unit. These closet pieces are created to function to the consumer’s personal needs whether it be designing the perfect closet renovation or establishing a dressing area within a bedroom.
The collection features a built-in look with finished back panels, framed doors and drawers and a kickplate designed to meet the floor in the front for a seamless look but also clear baseboards in the back of the unit, so the system sits flat against a wall. The neutral Ivory Oak finish allows the Elba collection to be easily integrated into anyone’s closed closet or a statement dressing area. The Elba collection retails from US$199 to $350.
Dorel Home’s Little Seeds brand is built upon the mission that its furniture is meant to “grow with your child,” therefore the Little Seeds Poppy Closet Organizer was crafted with special features to do just that. The unique design with reversible panels lets consumers use the popular Poppy colors found on the rest of the collection to change the style to feature pink or blue details.
The center storage compartments can be configured in multiple ways to grow with a child’s needs from baby shoes cubbies to chapter books shelves. The vertical storage solution comes with five telescoping hanging rods for clothes, open shelves, adjustable cubbies and two deep toy storage areas at the bottom for easy access for kids. The closet system retails for US$300.
“We realize that for an adult, a parent, or a child, storage space is a universal challenge in every home,” said Joy Raccagno-Bond, director of product development – national brands for Dorel Home.
“We have created a variety of products that look good anywhere in the home, are functional and value priced to be accessible to a wide range of consumers.”
The new NTense Shadow Collection, available to retailers in May, is a three-piece collection that is focused on storage for gamers. This collection is the first in the NTense line to bring in two unique bookcases to match the gaming TV Stand.
The storage bookcases can be single units, paired with the collection’s TV Stand like audio piers, or stacked side by side to create a full wall of storage. The unique black and white-framed design gives the illusion of floating shelves for an edgy look suitable for any gamer upgrading their space. This collection also features vertical storage to fit the newest gaming systems in their upright positions and wire pass-throughs for cable management. Pieces in this collection will range from US$140 to $200.
