Greenington Brings Luxury Scale with Sustainability to High Point

High Point Market is right around the corner, April 22 – 26, so here is an early peek at the new introductions of the collections and finishes.

To get started, check out the Greenington LookBook Spring 2023 to see all the products in the bedroom, dining room, living room, home office, storage, and seating.

So, why bamboo furniture? At Greenington, they harvest one of Earth's fastest-growing plants straight from bamboo forests in China to design naturally beautiful furniture in a process that is environmentally friendly and helps sustain the Earth.

Bamboo is one of the best plants to sequester carbon. It releases approximately 35% more oxygen than an equivalent stand of trees. Greenington selectively harvests their bamboo so that each bamboo culm used in the production of Greenington products is individually selected by the local farmer and harvested by hand.

This process preserves the ecosystem of the native bamboo forest, and leaves the bamboo root system intact, from which new bamboo shoots will emerge and grow the following year.

Greenington furniture is manufactured using only mature Moso bamboo, ensuring maximum strength and durability. Classic bamboo is 20% harder than red oak, while Moso bamboo is 100% harder than red oak.

While the facts and statistics are available to prove the benefits and responsibility that bamboo represents as far as sustainability, just as important to customers is the beauty and luxury of the products that are presented.

This spring, a rich stained finish named Caviar will be unveiled. Plus, you’ll see exciting new introductions using Greenington’s innovation of Amber and Wheat bamboo material. These state-of-the-art materials use no stain but are mechanical finishes using heat, steam, and pressure to create rich looks that fit right in with existing residential wood tones.

Contact your sales representative or email sales@greenington.com to schedule your appointment for Spring Market at High Point, and… go with bamboo… live with sustainability.
