IDS Student Memberships Free of Charge Thanks to Feizy Rugs

The Interior Design Society (IDS) is excited to announce that all student memberships will now be free of charge. Feizy Rugs is the supporter behind this effort, helping to make it possible.

Students who are studying interior design, will now be able to take full advantage of all that IDS has to offer with no cost to them.

“We at Feizy Rugs are honored to support the IDS Student Membership program.  We know that this support is our way of securing the future of the interior design community,” shared Michael Bauer, director of trade relations at Feizy.

Current student membership benefits include membership in a local or virtual chapter, access to all education provided by IDS, the ability to submit projects to the Student Design category of the Designer of the Year Awards, and the opportunity to network with and form relationships with established interior designers and trade professionals nationwide.

“IDS is committed to growing and investing in the pipeline of future interior designers and this effort directly supports that cause,” said Jenny Cano, IDS executive director.

“We hope that the complimentary memberships will encourage up and coming interior designers to become involved in the design community, further developing their talents, skills, and impact.”

To sign up for a complimentary student membership, students must provide proof of enrollment in a 4-year interior design or interior architecture program; or proof of enrollment at a community college or career trade school (minimum of 6 hours of class time per week).
