Legends Furniture Ready for Growth with Leadership Team in Place

With the recent, key new hires of Mariano Tellarini as the company’s new COO/CFO and former Lane Industries VP, Matt Sorensen as new VP of Sales, Legends is kicking sales and new product development into high gear to solidify their goal for exponential growth in 2023.
The Sales Team is now complete and is led by recently promoted, Marty Melcher as Senior VP of Sales with Matt, reporting to him. They have extensive plans to work with and develop the Reps, Large accounts, and the multiple Buying Groups to approach the industry from all levels.
The Product Development Team is now split between Hardgoods and Soft goods so Legends can leverage their Arizona factory, multiple overseas factories they work with, and their recently purchased mattress turned upholstery factory to extend their reach into additional bedding and upholstery products.
Tim Donk, recently promoted as VP of Products, is taking the helm over the company’s Hardgoods. With his over 30 years of experience between retailing, being an industry rep and his product development expertise, makes him the perfect person to push Legends offerings to the next level.
Lastly, long time In2Rest bedding SVP, Sam Curtis, is transitioning his role to include both bedding and upholstery and is focusing on launching a full line of upholstery by the High Point Market next month.
For High Point, Legends will be showcasing these expanded offerings to be a whole home destination and with their new 30,000 sq ft showroom being built, Legends Home will be center stage at Plaza Suites, Third Floor 308.
