House of Style Hosted by Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library

Winterthur is known for its magnificent collection of American decorative arts on display through Henry Francis du Pont’s former home and showcased in their permanent and rotating gallery spaces.

Nestled in the heart of Delaware’s beautiful Brandywine Valley, Winterthur’s museum, garden and library offer a variety of tours, exhibitions and engaging programs.

Throughout the month of March, join sought-after design professionals as they share their expertise, including Erika Kurtz, New Moon's COO & designer, in two special events on March 11.

First, from 11am – 12pm, join the Art Underfoot Talk where Erika Kurtz will “Walk through the history and process of designing and creating works of art that grace our floors and enliven our spaces.”

Then, at 1pm, A Path Forward: The Ancient Art of Handmade Rug Weaving for a Modern World, where Erika will discuss how remaining radically old-school pushes the envelope in design and interiors.

Winterthur is located just 5 miles north of Kurtz Collection – the home of New Moon rugs. You can learn about the Kurtz story through these sessions, then come show the showroom to create your own house of style.

Register for a Path Forward HERE and Art Underfoot HERE.
