Artistic Tile’s Billie Ombre Lets Designers Create Unique Spaces

One of the largest tile and stone purveyor's, Artistic Tile, has a tile pattern that can look completely different just by being installed differently. Billie Ombre is that pattern and can bring ombre to walls and surfaces in a variety of layouts to create a multitude of different looks.

When determining the design of the tile as a whole, the layout is determined by the designer. It can be configured in a variety of ways: horizontally, vertically, using extenders, etc. With this one tile, you can create several completely unique-looking spaces.

Your only limits are what fits in the space and the tiles that are chosen.

Kyle Guilliford, industrial designer at Artistic Tile, explains how Billie Ombre can be used, "In its simplest form, Billie Ombre creates a simple fade from dark to light. This can be used with multiple Billie Ombre pieces to create a seamless flow between dark and light”

“Now, It’s when we add extenders that you really get to see unique layouts and how this design can really bring out the most of your space. These can be used to create really interesting asymmetrical or symmetrical layouts. The use of the light and dark extenders can also be used in a multitude of ways whether it be highlighting the focal point of the room or accentuating certain objects to make them pop,” Guilliford continued.

“Billie Ombre can be laid out both vertically and horizontally, but it’s how it’s used in the client’s space that will make the difference. For example, I am currently working on a space where the Billie Ombre Green is being used to create a full floor to ceiling wrap around.”

“The ombre is being used straight through the center of the space so when you walk in, it envelops you and feels like walking into a piece of art, " he concluded.

Billie Ombre has been used on kitchen hoods, shower walls and even staircases. Artistic Tile just launched two new colorways of the pattern: Sunset and Moonbeam adding to the already diverse line-up.

Artistic Tile designs and sources their products with the goal of enhancing the lives of their customers by helping them make spaces more beautiful. What better way to do that then have customizable tiles available to make any space unique.
