American Samaritan has launched its free furniture Fridays that will take place at their Denver furniture store. The organization will offer free furniture pieces to in-need individuals and families that need to furnish their properties.
Some of the groups they are targeting include economically challenged families, single parents, military families, elderly people, and any other individuals in need in the Denver Metro area and the Front Range.
Each Friday they will have varied furniture pieces for selection depending on the inventory they receive from donors. The pieces may include couches, bed frames, wood table sets, leather couches, dining sets, bedroom sets, TV stands, coffee tables, and more.
The Denver furniture store provides large and small essential household items and furniture that are gently used and can fit in homes and businesses, without breaking the bank. They have onsite staff who can help interested persons select items that are best suited for their current and future needs.
The staff is knowledgeable about their inventory and can easily match clients to the items they seek.
Households and individuals who wish to donate to this cause can contact the organization to have their unwanted furniture moved from their properties.
Donors can book American Samaritan’s free furniture donation pickup and transport services online or on-call. They use professional movers for heavy furniture like pianos and adhere to all health and safety standards.
The organization picks up gently used pieces that can be easily reused and has a hauling service for clients with broken or damaged furniture pieces to have them disposed of in the most environmentally friendly way possible.
Douglas Evans, the organizations founder had this to say about their services, “American Samaritan is committed to helping families back on their feet when times get tough. We have helped hundreds of families in need while saving thousands of pieces of furniture from landfill.”
Evans continued, “We all need a helping hand from time to time and we’re here to bring those who need one together with those who can offer one.”
In addition to their free furniture Fridays, American Samaritan offers other services like the sale of furniture to make money used to help
needy persons and families. They accept donations in the form of vehicles, art, computers, and real estate, among others.
