Malouf Foundation™ Announced New Director of Impact

The Malouf Foundation™ has announced Sage Hancock as their director of impact. Her newly created role oversees impact initiatives of Malouf™, including the work of Malouf Foundation™ and Elizabeth Smart Foundation (ESF). Hancock came from ESF when the two organizations officially joined forces earlier this year.

“I’m so impressed by Malouf™ and their desire to use business as a force for good,” Hancock shared. “It’s also rewarding to join an industry that’s so committed to giving back. I'm excited to work with our retail partner network to expand the impact of the Malouf Foundation™—to provide community education, as well as healing and advocacy for survivors.”

As executive director of ESF and director of impact at the Malouf Foundation™, Hancock works with her team to further the development of existing programs—including OnWatch™, Smart Defense™, Raise, Juniper Scholarship, Rooms Restored™, Heroes Landing™ and the “We Believe You” campaign—analyze future efforts, and work closely with donors.

With a background in philanthropy, Hancock prioritizes the financial success of the Malouf Foundation™ and ESF by fostering relationships with major donors, foundations, and corporate partners, as well as pursuing grant opportunities to expand the foundation’s influence.

Hancock has several years of direct nonprofit experience. She began with a small healthcare organization working in development and operations and most recently worked in fundraising for five universities and extensive worldwide humanitarian efforts. This past year, she completed her MBA degree through Louisiana State University Shreveport.

“Sage’s philanthropic experience has already helped us scale our sustainability and impact,” said Jake Neeley, executive director of the Malouf Foundation™. “Plus, her business development mindset has led to several new partnerships that intersect multiple areas of the company, not just the Malouf Foundation™. Sage will be instrumental in all future growth.”

During the month of November, the Malouf Foundation™ and Elizabeth Smart Foundation are running their “We Believe You” campaign. The movement is designed to support survivors of sexual violence by creating a safe space for them to come forward and share their experiences.
