Outward, Inc. Celebrates 10 Years Transforming Industry Technology

Outward, Inc., the independent Williams-Sonoma Inc. company, is celebrating its 10-year anniversary this month. They have spent the last decade perfecting its technology that transforms the way home furnishings retailers, manufacturers, and designers market through their product photography and merchandising.
Outward’s first products were a marketing tool that brought new visualization technology for those in the industry. Then, they reached deeper into the industry after its first customer, Williams-Sonoma Inc., liked their technology and roadmap enough to buy the company in 2017.
Until 2021, Outward had been primarily servicing Williams-Sonoma brands but has since established itself as an independent company whose technology is serving over 170 retailers and manufacturers with their latest product, Aperature Platform.
Outward’s technology has become attractive to retailers and furniture manufacturers nationwide, helping these companies become more efficient and competitive, while cutting costs. Retailers across the West Coast are already utilizing Outward’s technology, as well as furniture manufacturers who also specialize in accessories, wall décor, furniture, lighting, and home textiles. These companies are seeing the benefits of the Aperture Platform as well.
