Spectra Home Joins Other Manufacturers in Eliminating Freight Surcharges

Upholstery manufacturer, Spectra Home, announces that they have eliminated the freight surcharge on their entire line, including new Market introductions, effective Oct. 1. The company implemented the freight surcharge in response to the high ocean freight rates experienced worldwide.
“Over the past several months we have seen freight rates returning to more reasonable costs and we want to pass those savings onto our retail partners,” stated Jim Telleysh, senior vice president of Spectra Home.
“Hopefully this surcharge free news will give our retailers the relief that they need to pass the savings on to their customers allowing our retailers to continue realizing their high sales margins they have experienced in recent years. Our retailers are our partners, and we want to help them as much as we can to be successful.”
