Fears of a strike by West Coat dock workers has led to recent congestion at East Coast ports, which has triggered cancelation of some sailings by ocean freight carriers, CNBC reported.

CNBC said the ports of Savannah, Ga., and Houston appear to be the most congested with 39 and 22 cargo ships, respectively, waiting to be unloaded.
