Hooker Furnishings, HMI Group Launches Portfolio Warehouse Program

The HMI Group segment of Hooker Furnishings has announced it will be rolling out its first ever warehouse stocking program, Portfolio, at the October 2022 High Point Market.

The Portfolio program has been specifically engineered to provide retailers and designers with on-trend products, exceptional customer service, and stocked inventory to support sought-after market agility. To showcase this initiative, there has been a significant capital investment in a clean sheet update of the company’s entire 220 Elm showroom, including a 10,000 square foot pavilion dedicated to the launch of the Portfolio concept.

Portfolio encompasses a ready-to-ship assortment of over 1,000 curated SKUs in every major furniture category from Hooker Furnishings’ HMI Group brands (Accentrics Home, PRI, Pulaski, and Samuel Lawrence), offering an unmatched breadth in price range and style. With no order minimums, Portfolio’s stocked products can be seamlessly mixed and matched across the four included brands within a single order, no additional qualifications needed.

“We are very excited to launch this new initiative with our HMI company brands,” said Jeremy Hoff, chief executive officer of Hooker Furnishings. “This new program will allow us to broadly diversify our distribution for these brands across the vast domestic independent retailer network via our multi-million dollar investment in this 90%+ in-stock inventory strategy. The fast growing interior design channel will also now be able to leverage these brands and their products for the first time.”

The Portfolio product assortment will be shipped from the newly opened, recently expanded 1,000,000 square foot Hooker Furnishings Warehouse in Midway, Georgia. The convenient location, less than 35 miles from the Port of Savannah, reduces transit time, fuel costs, and product handling, contributing to the exceptional value of the line.

Portfolio will be on display in the HMI Group showroom at 220 Elm during September’s Pre-Market as well as the October High Point Market.
