Mark Cary Joins Chad Dorsey Design Studio as COO

Chad Dorsey Design, the luxury interior design studio based in Dallas and Los Angeles, has announced that Mark Cary has joined as chief operating officer.

In Cary’s new role, effective immediately, he will help guide the studio’s direction alongside owner Chad Dorsey and oversee projects from start to finish.

Cary brings over 25 years of experience serving luxury clients in the hospitality industry. He has completed upwards of sixty-five projects worldwide in a portfolio that spans resorts, hotels, spas, and private expedition yachts. Previous projects include design award winners such as the Rosewood Tucker’s Point Club in Bermuda, JW Marriott Guanacaste Resort and Spa in Costa Rica and Montage in Laguna Beach.

For the last decade, he has been an associate at Looney & Associates as well as member of their executive leadership committee, developing and carrying out the interior design firm's strategies.

“Mark is joining at a critical moment for the studio as we witness growth and increased diversity in our project types. His detail-oriented attitude and strategic thinking will be instrumental in improving our internal processes and ensuring that all projects are completed to our typical standards without exception,” said Dorsey.

“I’ve continuously admired Chad Dorsey Design’s work from afar and am thrilled to now be part of this talented team,” said Cary. “The studio has proved itself to be successful with an impressive track record of project types, and this is the right moment to take that momentum and fuel the next stage of expansion.”
