Sunpan Certified as Great Place to Work

Sunpan has announced that it has been certified as a Great Place to Work after a thorough, independent analysis conducted by Great Place to Work Institute Canada.

“Creating a workplace where employees genuinely want to come to work every day has always been a top priority for our company since its inception,” said Sundeep, president and CEO, Sunpan.  “Receiving this prestigious recognition is an incredible milestone for our company, and is a testament to the impact of various initiatives our company has, and continues to, put into place for our valued employees.”

This certification is based on direct feedback from Sunpan employees, provided as part of an extensive and anonymous survey about their workplace experience. To receive this certification, the company needed to have a survey score that is 65% positive or more.

Maintaining a work environment that focuses on the satisfaction of employees through actionable plans has been paramount in the growing success of Sunpan.

Nancy Fonseca, senior vice president of Great Place to Work Canada, says that a great workplace is about the level of trust that employees experience in their leaders, the level of pride they have in their jobs, and the extent to which they enjoy their colleagues.

"Our data shows that great workplaces benefit from stronger financial performance, reduced turnover, and better customer satisfaction than their peers,” said Fonseca. “Work environments with trust at the foundation are ripe for innovation, agility, resilience and efficiency.”
