Outdoor furnishings resource Sunset West is set to make its return to the High Point Market in April. The Vista, Calif.-based company, which was recently acquired by Hooker Furnishings, will be occupying the 2,400 square foot “Hub” space within Hooker’s 10th floor IHFC showroom.
“We are so pleased to be showing at the High Point Market again, and especially to do so in conjunction with the rest of the Hooker Furnishings family,” said Wes Stewart, president of Sunset West. “This is an exciting time for us as we are now able, with the help of Hooker’s new 800,000 square foot Savannah, GA distribution center, to service designers and retailers that we were not previously able to reach. We believe this initial market showing with Hooker will give us the exposure needed to really bolster our east coast business.”
Sunset West will be showcasing a “Best Of” lineup of their most popular tried-and-true product, featuring signature mixed-media pieces that highlight materials like metal, rope, and resin.
“There is great value for buyers in extending their home furnishings offerings into the outdoor space, and Hooker Furnishings now has the distinct value-proposition of being a whole-home resource for our customers,” said Jeremy Hoff, CEO of Hooker Furnishings. “Having Sunset West’s product displayed in our showroom’s “Hub” area - the central connection to each of our Legacy Brands’ individual spaces - puts them front and center, allowing customers to really get excited about elevating their product mix with the addition of outdoor.”
Showroom visitors will have the opportunity to enter to win one of Sunset West’s popular Dana Hanging Chairs, as well as enjoy one of the famous Mai Tais that they have come to be known for up and down the west coast.
