American Leather Holdings Appoints Phil Milazzo as Interim CEO

American Leather Holdings, parent company of American Leather, Lee Industries, Brookline Furniture and BenchMade Modern, has named Phil Milazzo as interim chief executive officer. Milazzo takes the place of Bruce Birnbach, who has been with the company since 2006.

“We are very thankful for everything Bruce has done for American Leather Holdings,” said Julio Wong, chief people officer of American Leather. “He was instrumental in our company’s growth, especially leading the acquisitions of Lee, Brookline and BenchMade Modern, and we appreciate all of the years he gave to us. Bruce will be missed very much by our entire team and by our customer partners. We wish him the absolute best.”

With over 30 years of experience leading manufacturing companies from aerospace to cabinetry, Milazzo brings a very strong operations, supply chain and manufacturing background to American Leather.

“With the complexities facing the industry during this historic period of time, we are looking forward to working with Phil, who brings a depth of expertise to the company,” Wong added.
