Hall of Fame Elects New Officers and Board Members

The American Home Furnishings Hall of Fame Foundation has elected new officers and board members for 2022.

Caroline Hipple, president, Norwalk Furniture, has been re-elected as the board president; Scott Eckman, executive vice president and chief revenue officer of International Market Centers as first vice president; and David Gebhart, CEO, Global Views as secretary-treasurer. Steve Rusing, executive vice president, Tempur Sealy International has been elected as second vice president.

“This may be the most exciting time anyone has served on the Hall of Fame Board of Directors. In one year, we will open our new home. We’ll unveil a new Hall of Fame to honor our leaders, new exhibits, new events and new gathering spaces for the industry,” says Caroline Hipple, president of the board and Norwalk Furniture. “This will be the opportunity of a lifetime for all of us, likely with many challenges. We greatly appreciate the time, the expertise and the energy that board members and the Executive Committee bring to the Hall of Fame.”

New directors are David Beld, president of Palecek; Derick Close, CEO of Springs Creative; and Satya Tiwari, president or Surya.

Board members re-elected to another three-year term are Jeff Child, president of RC Willey; Amir Loloi, founder and president of Loloi Rugs; Mark Phillips, president and CEO of Phillips Collection; and David Swers, president and COO of Glen Raven Custom Fabrics, LLC.
