Hooker Furnishings Opens Permanent Showroom at Las Vegas Market

Hooker Furnishings, one of the nation’s leading home furnishings resources for case goods, leather furniture and fabric-upholstered furniture, will be making its Las Vegas Furniture Market debut this January in an 8,500-square-foot showroom located in the Design Center of building A, space 236. This move marks the company’s first permanent showroom outside of High Point.

The new space is a continuation of the company’s efforts to further engage with retailers and interior designers from across the country. The key location within the Design Center allows for easy access for Market attendees as well as expanded brand exposure. The location is also open to the industry professionals year-round. Each element of the space was designed with a specific audience in mind by showcasing the brand’s most unique, eclectic introductions.

“The design community has always been an integral part of our business and our new showroom in the World Market Center in Las Vegas further affirms our commitment to them,” said Alexandra O’Hare, vice president of marketing and interior design at Hooker Furnishings. “We had great response to our inaugural InterHall pop-up in High Point last June and intend to double down on that model in Vegas by showing a bold mix of our best-in-class products.”

Evocative of the calm, cool collectedness of the west coast, the showroom is curated for designers by designers. The space will differ greatly from the layout of the company’s more traditional showroom in High Point as it shows how pieces can work together and can be styled in a home or interior design project. Showcased in the space will be product from four Hooker Furnishings brands: Hooker Furniture, Sam Moore, Bradington-Young and MARQ.

“The style and aesthetic of retailer and designers from west of the Rockies is different than what we see in High Point,” said Matt Cowan, vice president of sales at Hooker Furnishings. “We’re excited to be able to further engage with them and their needs and desires for interior design.”
