American Freight, a leading furniture, mattress and appliance retailer, is awarding John and Llaura Jenkins with two franchise locations in Longview, Texas and northwestern Louisiana, adding to the company’s growing nationwide footprint of more than 300 stores.
“At the end of the day, we want people to have a great customer experience,” said the couple. “In our experience, that’s what makes a store successful. Establishing personal connections and earning customers’ loyalty are just as important as having a clean store and quality merchandise.”
Jenkins and his wife Llaura join the American Freight team with 15 years of franchising experience under their belts. The couple converted the Longview, Texas location from company-owned to a franchised store in July and have signed an area development agreement for a store in northwestern Louisiana.
“We’re well on our way to a strong end of our first full year of franchising,” said Will Powell, CEO of American Freight. “Single and multi-unit franchisees are taking notice of our proven model that is easy to build, quick to open and highly scalable. We’re finding they are eager to claim their territory before it’s gone.”
