Thomasville Furniture to Create Isaac Mizrahi Line

The collection will be available in 100 Thomasville stores and better department stores in the spring.

The licensing agreement is between Furniture Brands and Xcel Brands (OTCQB: XELB), which manages a number of brands including Liz Claiborne New York.

"I am very excited to partner with Furniture Brands and its Thomasville division on this home collection," said Robert D'Loren, chairman and CEO of Xcel. "This license is a cornerstone to our growing home business."

Mizrahi has been a leader in the fashion industry for almost 30 years. Since his first collection in 1987, his designs have a distinct timeless style.

"We are thrilled to collaborate with Xcel Brands and its Isaac Mizrahi brand," said Kathy Veltri , president of Thomasville Furniture. "This collection will bring a colorful yet classic home presentation to the marketplace. We cannot wait to reveal the collection in spring 2014."
