Industry veteran John Iasiello has announced his resignation as president of Riverside Furniture, a leading casegoods resource.
Iasiello joined the company in February 2018 as senior vice president of strategic planning and business development was named president in 2020.
While at Riverside, Iasiello increased the company’s market share by expanding the Top 100 dealer base and mid-tier independents. He focused on revenue growth, territory management, and a more structured product development process to grow the company’s appeal to a broader retail base. Talented executives were added to the management team in the areas of Supply Chain, E-Commerce, and Quality management.
Iasiello started his career in the furniture industry at Levitz Furniture and later worked for Huffman Koos and Breuner’s Home Furnishing in senior-level product development and marketing positions. In 1994, he joined Macy’s Department Store as corporate merchandise manager for five years before transitioning into the wholesale side as vice president sales with Natuzzi and afterward as senior vice president of product development and strategic accounts at A.R.T., where he worked for eight years.
In January 2012, Iasiello became vice president of product development for Emerald Home Furnishing and, the following year, earned the added responsibility for leading the sales team. He holds an MBA in Business from Seton Hall University.
