Following the launch of its Sleep2Win Smart Beds, Corsicana Mattress Co. has partnered with Retail Service Systems (RSS) on its second annual Rugged Road Trip. The road trip and strategic partnership provides additional exposure to Corsicana’s private label capabilities as well as brings awareness to the community and services provided by the RSS team.
Over the last two years, Corsicana has participated in the event by donating Sleep2Win merchandise to promote its private label business. Created by Scott Andrew and Darren Conrad, co-owners of RSS, the roadshow visits local BoxDrop dealers, retailers and entrepreneurs from across the country to educate customers on its services, build the Rugged Nation and provide on-going training resources.
Earlier this year, Corsicana partnered with RSS to launch the Sleep2Win Smart Bed. Offered in three comfort levels, the Single Zone, 3-Zone and the 5-Zone Sleep2Win Smart Beds have the ability to set comfort or sense movement throughout the night and automatically respond to provide real time support and comfort. The intuitive mattress line is paired with a new mobile app to allow consumers to fully customize their sleep experience and adjusts as you sleep.
“Our partnership with RSS is a great example of the collaborative resources we utilize in order to provide customers with unique, American made products,” said Kevin Mitchell, national account executive at Corsicana Mattress. “The Rugged Road Trip is a great way for us to promote our private label business as well as continue to create brand awareness across the country further supporting their network of independent retailers.”
Based in Dublin, Ohio, RSS is a franchise-model retailer branded as BoxDrop with 470 stores in the United States. Under the exclusive partnership, the two smart beds were placed in a limited number of locations for testing purposes to start. Additional stores will be added next year.
