RTA furniture provider Walker Edison has announced Markus Leunig as its new CFO.
Leunig was most recently the CFO of The North Face (a division of VF Corporation) and held that role since 2016. He was with VF Corporation since 2006 in various FP&A roles, and he has previously worked with Gap Inc and Lehman Brothers. Leunig has an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California Berkeley.
Leunig received his B.S. in Finance from the University of Utah and was an All-American and Academic All-American skier at the University of Utah 1996-1999.
“We continue to build out a deep bench at Walker Edison, and Markus is no exception,” said Brad Bonham, CEO. “He brings a depth of knowledge and experience from his time as CFO of The North Face that is unparalleled. We are excited to watch him continue to drive outsized growth within one of Utah’s fastest growing businesses.”
Walker Edison’s previous CFO, Boyd Kezerian, will support the Finance organization’s transition and then move into a new executive role as chief transformation officer where he will continue to support the team and lead the many transformational initiatives inherent in a high growth business.
“We are grateful to Boyd for these many years he has been the CFO at Walker Edison and we welcome Markus to the team with open arms,” said Matt Davis, COO. “There is much growth ahead for us and we are thrilled to continue to expand the Walker Edison team.”
