Hooker Furniture has launched the Emporium Collection in response to consumer demand for new traditional designs in home furnishings. Making its debut at the Fall High Point Market, Emporium will appeal to a wide range of consumers looking for affordably priced pieces designed for a variety of space needs.
Crafted with cathedral Hickory veneers in two distinct finishes – Dogwood, a buttermilk white and Autumn Brown, a warm brown traditional finish, the 36-piece whole home collection offers a fresh take on classic looks with a texture that spotlights the beauty of the wood grain, but with a smooth-to-the-touch hand employing a wool wax finishing technique. The moderately scaled grouping offers flexible silhouettes that can easily transition into a variety of design aesthetics.
“Emporium is styled and priced to appeal to a broad range of consumers looking for a more traditional space,” said Mike Harris, president, Hooker Furniture. “The collection can easily find its way into a variety of interiors across the country. Over the past several years, we have worked very hard to build balance across our product in terms of style, scale, and price. Emporium plays an important role in this strategy.”
The Emporium collection includes bedroom, dining, home office, entertainment and occasional pieces.
Bedroom introductions include a panel bed, an eight-drawer dresser, a mirror, two nightstands, a two-door chest, and a gentleman’s chest – all available in both distinct finishes.
Formal dining pieces include a 54-inch round pedestal dining
table with a 20-inch leaf, a rectangular trestle dining table with two 22-inch leaves and a buffet, also available in both wood finishes. Two upholstered dining room chair styles are available with the same finish options.
Highlights of the occasional, home office and entertainment pieces include a choice of round or square end tables, a rectangular shaped cocktail table, a console table, a writing desk and two 78-inch entertainment consoles all available in both distinct finishes.
