Norwalk Furniture Unveils New Multi-Purpose Pieces at Fall High Point Market

Norwalk Furniture, an industry leader in custom upholstered furniture, is introducing several multi-purpose upholstered pieces at the upcoming High Point Market, October 16 - 20.

Responding to consumers’ desires to utilize their living space in multifunctional ways, the new pieces are ideal for a variety of room sizes and configurations. Combining function with style, the pieces are available in more than 800 fabric and 100 leather options.

“Offering products that will suit a variety of spaces is all about designing pieces with accessibility, comfort, style and purpose in mind,” said Caroline Hipple, president of Norwalk Furniture. “All too often the constrains of a space limits us. With multi-functional furniture it’s not only about adapting to the situation but also about optimizing the space. Our newest introductions allow the furniture to multitask within a room with designs that are flexible, while adding a new level of comfort – all without compromising on style.”

Norwalk’s new introductions exude a sense of style and practicality, making them ideal for a variety of room transformations. Highlights include: the Gastonia Sofa, a conversation sofa designed with a curved profile and comfortable tight back and seat that makes it ideal as a transitional piece that can float within a room; the triangular-shaped Apex Storage Ottoman,

designed to accommodate the space formed by an L-shaped sectional with padded side panels, button details and a removeable top for convenient hidden storage; the moderately-scaled Madison Chair with its serpentine front rail, and embracing arms, perfect for use in pairs and ideal in spaces that call for a smaller silhouette, and the traditional-styled Wilmington Chair, characterized by a gentle curve of the front arms and a dramatic drop of the back sew line. Infused with subtle design elements Wilmington makes it easy to transition into more modern spaces.

Norwalk’s showroom at the High Point Market is located in IHFC - M108, Main, Floor 1.
