Fairfield Celebrates 100 Years

Casegood and upholstery manufacturer Fairfield will celebrate its 100th anniversary with new introductions during the upcoming High Point Market.

“Focusing on designing and manufacturing relevant solutions for our customer has been our focus this year as we celebrate our 100-year centennial. Handcrafted furniture with appropriate form, relevant function, and a high level of versatility has sustained Fairfield’s legacy over the past 100 years and is what will take us into the next 100,” said Dixon Mitchell, CEO of Fairfield.

The new introductions are centered around relevant home trends in residential markets with an emphasis on multi-use functionality. With home-office trends on the rise, Fairfield prioritized producing line extensions such as mobile files, lateral files, and lateral file decks.

“Over the past year, we have seen an increased demand for versatility in home furnishings coupled with new work from home space challenges,” added Mitchell. “As a response, we’ve produced new home-office pieces to serve as line extensions from some of our best-selling Fairfield casegoods collections–for example, upgrading a seating area of a clients home to a study with a functioning display curio.”

With versatility in mind, Fairfield is also introducing two new sofa series that offer three seat cushion and back pillow configurations for customized design opportunities. The new McCoy and Hendrix sofa series feature plush seating and relaxed arm styles with exposed wood bases, ideal for a range of casual to semi-casual spaces depending upon the seat and back option chosen.
