IMC’s TrendWatch Available in 5 Interactive Ways During Upcoming Market

DesignOn HPMKT by IMC – International Market Centers’ (IMC) programming and social media presence at High Point Market – is offering five ways to interact with its newest proprietary TrendWatch report: a pre-market webinar, live at-market seminar, guided tour, three trend displays and a digital look book, all featuring product from IMC exhibitors at the October 16-20, 2021 market.

The report features more than 100 products by nearly 70 brands showcasing three trends – AWAY, MALLEABLE and VERVE.

“TrendWatch is the hallmark of the DesignOn HPMKT by IMC programming as an in-depth look into the trending product available for immediate ordering at market,” said Dorothy Belshaw, IMC executive vice president, chief customer and marketing officer. “Through programing before and during market, we are giving buyers the tools to identify and take action on the must-have décor, accessories and furniture offered only by IMC exhibitors.”

TrendWatch programming led by curator Julie Smith Vincenti of Chicago-based Nine Muses Media – who has 25 years of experience in magazine editing and home furnishings trends forecasting – meets buyers where they need it for Fall 2021.

The pre-market “TrendWatch: Fall 2021 Webinar,” on Wednesday, October 6 at 1 p.m. is a deep-dive into trendsetting product at High Point Market timed as attendees are making market appointments. In the free, one-hour webinar, Vincenti offers insight into how the Fall 2021 TrendWatch trends will influence interior décor and product designs for furniture, upholstery, fabrics, decorative accessories, that designers and retailers will find at market. Vincenti repeats her presentation in-person at market in “TrendWatch: Fall 2021 - LIVE at Market!” on Saturday, October 16 at 1:30 p.m. in the DesignOn HPMKT by IMC Seminar Room (SAMS). The live presentation will give designers and retailers creative insight to meet the needs of their clients as they source on-trend product from IMC’s High Point exhibitors. Attendees can explore TrendWatch product selections in-person during the TrendWatch Tour, which returns after a pandemic hiatus.
