Windward Design Group Rejoins ICFA

The association membership and trade show participation are a part of marketing initiatives being instituted by recently named chief information officer, Rachel Peace.
“Windward Design Group has always been proud to be a part of the growing casual and outdoor furnishings industry,” said Rachel Peace, CIO, Windward Design Group. “With this renewed membership, we look to become a great participant in the promotion as well as educational aspects that this association offers through its initiatives.”
For the Sarasota, Fla.- based manufacturer, renewing its participation in the Casual Market Chicago is a part of its ongoing marketing and promotional plan. The American-made products will now be made available for review by retailers nationwide during the fall market.
“I am delighted to welcome Windward Design Group back to membership in the International Casual Furnishings Association after a brief hiatus,” said Jackie Hirschhaut, executive director, ICFA. “The opportunity to meet with Rachel at High Point Market in June gave both of us a chance to discuss the benefits of rejoining the outdoor furniture industry trade organization and opportunities for collaboration. I was truly inspired by the enthusiasm that she brings to leading Windward Design Group into the future and look forward to her working on the 2022 ICFA Educational Conference Committee.”
Retailers can tour the latest and most popular designs within Windward Design Group’s temporary showspace on the 7th floor of the Chicago Merchandise Mart at 7-10052. The Casual Market Chicago will take place from September 21 – 24, 2021.
