Four Hands, a leading designer and global importer of trendsetting lifestyle home furnishings, has appointed Jim Anderson as its new chief technology officer.
Anderson, most recently COO at White Mountain Footwear Group, will lead Four Hands’ efforts in replacing their current technology stack with new leading-edge platforms by mid-2022.
"Technology is increasingly integral to who we are as a company and having the right technology in place is what will help accelerate the pace of both innovation and scale,” said Matthew Briggs, CEO. “Jim Anderson’s experience leading technology from an operational perspective will help us bridge the gap between technology and operations, blending real-life situations and challenges, and adapting our systems to better meet our customers’, employees’ and vendors’ needs.”
With Four Hands’ upcoming implementations of Oracle NetSuite and Koerber WMS—both recently named Leaders in the 2021 Gartner Magic Quadrant—Anderson says the company will be able to bring the robust, intuitive experience customers, vendors, and employees have come to expect, but with even more accurate, complete information.
“We don’t want to chase the technology; we want to lead it,” Anderson said. “With this new platform and tools, we’ll be better, faster, and more accurate in everything we do—from more automated financials and transactions to a more efficient warehouse—so our people can focus on design innovation and the expansion of our products, giving our customers more of what they want.”
Anderson, who brings 25 years of experience to the Austin-based company and has led several ERP implementations for companies including Georgia Pacific and Victorinox Swiss Army, said he’s proud to play a part in continuing Four Hands’ rapid growth.
