Shademaker, the premier line of umbrella and accessories for restaurants, resorts, country clubs and high-end residential designers, has announced the addition of its latest umbrella base design, the Athens.

As a 108 lbs., two-tone cast aluminum market base with wheels, the Athens offers simplistic curves and a contemporary look to create a high-end complement to any market umbrella.

With a cast aluminum construction, the Athens umbrella base, features a self-adjusting clamp to provide commercial support and a bolted base stem to deliver enhanced commercial strength. Two wheels are incorporated into the design for ease of mobility. Aesthetically, the Athens is designed with complementing two-tone color accents, soft and simplistic curves and two finish options including Shadow Graphite and Arctic White. Compatible with a 30 lbs. add-on-weight for additional stability.

“The new Athens umbrella base is ideal for hospitality and high-end residential applications,” said Kim Golson, national contract sales manager, Shademaker. “We have crafted a market base that fuses modern design with functionality.”

By fusing the imagination of outdoor fashion with the practicalities of environmental performance, Shademaker represents “the apex of shade and related accessories.” “The Athens base is a small look to the future of Shademaker,” said Benjamin Ma, vice president of Treasure Garden. “Modern design elements, while upholding our commercial quality and strength.”
