Las Vegas Market Expects Surge in Temporary Exhibits for Summer Market

Following a successful debut in the new EXPO at World Market Center Las Vegas in April, Las Vegas Market's temporary exhibits are seeing a surge in both new and returning brands for the Summer 2021 Market, taking place Aug. 22 – 26. The market is expected to draw 350+ gift and home décor temporaries – an increase of 75 percent over the April Market.

"Las Vegas Market momentum is accelerating with 85 percent of the brands that showed in the EXPO at WMCLV in April returning for the August Market," said Scott Eckman, IMC chief revenue officer. "This gives us a solid base from which to build our temporary exhibits as industry recovery continues.”

Las Vegas Market’s temporary exhibits feature a mix of gift and home décor from established and up-and-coming brands in six destinations: Gift, Home, Design, Handmade, Luxe and Immediate Delivery plus the Gourmet Housewares Collection, which debuts this August – all housed in the state-of-the-art, 315,000-square-foot EXPO at World Market Center. Operating as the gateway to the World Market Center Las Vegas campus, the EXPO at WMCLV is contiguous with Building C and allows for a continuous flow of traffic between the market’s temporary exhibits and permanent showrooms.

Exhibitors in the Design category include Artnwordz (art-driven gifts), Cose Nuove (distributor of Swedish/Danish lines) and Deny Designs (design-driven gifts and home décor). New and notable brands in the Gift category include Angel Dear (baby clothing), Hobo Bags (handbags), Pixie Mood (vegan handbags), Potluck Press (stationery and gifts), Sonoma Lavender (personal care), Twisted Tomboy (personal care) and UKidz (toys). Albert L. (punkt), Inc. (tabletop) and CEREMONIA (home décor) are among exhibitors in theHandmade category. In Home, brands include Meissenburg Designs (vintage signs made in America), Solido Furniture (furniture and home décor handmade in Mexico) and Uber Chic Home (antique furniture and décor finds from Europe and the United States). The Immediate Delivery destination features a range of product from Forever Green Art (preserved florals and home accents) to Sunrise USA Trading (jewelry) and more. Luxe exhibitors include high-end brands like Ann Gish - The Art of Home (high-end bedding and pillows), Little Birdie (pillows), Pierre Verona (luxury stone home accents and furniture) and Rug & Kilim (designer rugs).

The new Gourmet Housewares Collection debuts alongside Las Vegas Market’s temporary exhibits this summer giving brands the opportunity to get in front of new and existing accounts and providing cross-category buying opportunities for independent specialty gift, home, hardware and lifestyle retailers. Highlights of the curated collection include Andrea’s (silicone trivets), Buzee Wraps (eco-friendly food wraps), Carmie’s Kitchen (gourmet mixes), Chic Chill (wine and champagne chillers), McSteven’s (drink mixes and chocolates), Mierco (European linens), South Bend Chocolate (chocolates and candies) and Wow Scrub (cleaning tools and products).
