Online boxed-bed manufacturer GhostBed has debuted the GhostBed Natural, a mattress constructed with certified eco-friendly materials. The new product, which is the company’s first all-natural mattress, is made with an organic cotton cover and an interior consisting of layers of natural wool, Talalay latex and Dunlop latex, along with an 8-inch, individually wrapped and reinforced coils system.
“The GhostBed Natural is a mattress that speaks to consumers who want the health benefits, comfort and security that all-natural products provide,” said Alan Hirschhorn, executive vice president of sales for GhostBed. “While people have been seeking products that promote healthier sleep for a number of years, this concern has sharpened with the onset of the COVID-19 crisis. This is definitely the right time for us to move ahead with the Natural.”
As part of the mattress’ introduction, GhostBed has debuted a website dedicated to the new product, ghostbednatural.com. The site details the Natural’s features and benefits which include among many the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) for its organic all-natural cover. These designations confirm that the Natural is produced using natural cotton from USDA-approved organic crops grown without the use of harmful substances such as pesticides and heavy metals, and latex made with organic raw materials.
The combination of the cotton cover, wool, latex and our reinforced coil systems, all designed to provide a cooler, healthier night’s sleep – a key quality point for all GhostBed’s mattresses – through the breathability of the cotton cover, the naturally cooling latex layer and the airflow-enhancing coils. The Natural is available in twin, full, queen, king, California king and split-king sizes. Suggested retail prices range from $1,395 to $3,500 and is backed by an industry leading 25-year warranty.
“For years, GhostBed has been an eco-friendly option within the bedding industry; our vacuum-sealed packaging and small carbon footprint helps keep the earth green by reducing cardboard waste and maximizing space in freight trucks. But we knew it was time to go even further,” added Hirschhorn.
