HOM Furniture to Open New Expanded Oakdale Location

Retailer HOM Furniture has announced it will move to a 155,000 square foot renovated complex in Oakdale, Minn. The location will also include a 60,000 square foot second-floor expansion housing sister brand, DOCK86.
The company finalized the purchase of the Vision 20 Movie Theatre building at 1188 Helmo Avenue North and renovation will be complete in early 2022.
“The new Oakdale location, will include HOM Furniture and DOCK86, along with our HOM house brands from Sleep Express, Bargain Shop, Seasonal Concepts Patio, HOM Floors, and some new products to,” said Rod Johansen, president and CEO of HOM Furniture. “This location offers spectacular visibility along I-694 for our new destination plus it has additional space for other great retail or even a restaurant with a roof top bar.”
The Oakdale location will be the 18th HOM Furniture store, the 9th in the metro area, and the 5th DOCK86 location.
