Storis Expands Lease-to-Own Options Through Kornerstone Credit Partnership

Retail software provider Storis has announced a new partnership with Kornerstone Credit to support home furnishings retailers in providing their consumers lease-to-own purchasing options at the Point of Sale.

Kornerstone Credit is certified as a lease-to-own lender and integrates to Storis’ Finance Queue. Their “no credit needed” program expands consumer accessibility to furniture, bedding, and appliances.

“We’re excited to be a certified partner of Storis,” said Clint Cowley, CRO of Kornerstone Credit. “The top home furnishings retailers in North America utilize their state-of-the-art system and we look forward to offering our program to mutual retail partners.”

Kornerstone Credit’s mission is “to have the most affordable lease-to-own experience, driven by happy people and awesome tech.” Its lease-to-own program helps customers acquire home furnishings without needing a credit score. The company found that in today’s economy, more than 40% of consumers are unable to obtain traditional credit to purchase the items they need for their home. Kornerstone Credit’s lease-to-own program offers instant approvals and the option to buy-out over 90 days or to obtain ownership through a convenient monthly lease payment.

“By partnering with Kornerstone Credit, we now offer more non-credit purchase choices to retailers utilizing our Finance Queue. Having a multitude of payment options available to those who are in various economic situations due to the current climate will help more customers access the home furnishings they need,” said Marybeth Feeney, director of application development, Storis.  

Storis’ Finance Queue manages all touchpoints with finance providers including application, approval, authorization, settlement, and account reconciliation from its POS Solution. With the Finance Queue, a single credit application can be submitted against the retailer’s available options for primary, secondary, and tertiary lenders with the customer’s approval. By enabling Kornerstone Credit as an option in the Finance Queue, retailers can provide their consumers with more choices to finance their purchases.
