City of Hope Releases Postponed Event Dates

City of Hope, a world-renowned independent research and treatment center for cancer, diabetes and other life-threatening diseases, has announced the rescheduling of the Home Furnishings Industry’s signature annual events, thanking the furniture industry for their patience and ongoing support.
- Spirit of Life Award Dinner honoring Rick Anderson, Patrick Cory and Rob Spilman to be held on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021, during High Point Fall Market.
- West Coast Golf & Tennis Tournament, honoring Mike Genrich, Jose Palacios and the entire Furniture of America Family to be held on Monday, Dec. 13, 2021, at Coto De Caza Golf & Tennis Club in Orange County, California.
“The drive and leadership of Rick Powell and Kevin O’Connor in driving our committees for the West Coast Golf Outing and the Spirit of Life Award Dinner shows their commitment as well as their passion for City of Hope,” said Chuck Reilly, EVP AICO and chairman for City of Hope’s International Home Furnishings Industry. “It is this commitment that has kept our honorees up to date, engaged and excited about the mission to save lives.”
