Delos, U.S. manufacturer and importer of custom hospitality and residential area rugs, has announced the launch of its Shiny Objects Collection.
The custom rugs ship in four weeks and are ideal for intimate spaces such as stairs, closets, boats, and private planes that necessitate unique shapes and excellent wearability. The series of ten on-trend textures are made from eco-friendly New Zealand wool that has been infused with shimmering details and metallic accents made using ECONYL regenerated nylon’s five shimmering metallics. Additionally, there are 144 New Zealand wool colors to choose from, to be paired with one of five ECONYL metallic accent yarns (Charcoal/Copper/Gold/Rose Gold/Silver).
Delos, family-owned company is committed to respecting the planet and therefore partnered with Aquafil USA to offer their ECONYL yarn exclusively for custom rugs in the US. ECONYL is a 100% regenerated nylon manufactured using spent fishing nets and reclaimed carpets. The Shiny Objects collection is available in sizing that spans up to 13’6”x60’ or 15’6”x40’ without seaming, and any size or shape within these size parameters. Its pile height is 10.5mm and is ADA (American Disability Act) compliant.
Feedback from the design community has been positive. “Delos is known for unique texture combinations and yarn mixes for custom projects, said Leah Phillips, co-owner. “Our interior design clients tell us they enjoy maximum creative flexibility with Delos via fiber options, colors, unlimited sizes and shapes, and the ability to turn projects fast. The Shiny Objects Collection is a beautiful example of our best effort!”
