Massood Logistics Expands into New Headquarters

Massood Logistics has opened its new headquarters in Archdale, N.C., expanding its warehouse and fulfillment network.
This is the fifth location operated by Massood in North Carolina to serve the Home Furnishing industry and e-commerce marketers around the globe. Others Include Greensboro, High Point, Eden and Winston-Salem.
“Today’s business environment is constantly changing and we are determined to provide our customers with the tools they need to succeed in a crowded marketplace,” said Edward Massood, CEO. “As always, our primary goal at Massood is providing timely freight shipping services, the careful handling of goods and the support of our industry, our retailers, our employees and our planet, just as we have for three generations.”
Massood Logistics was formed in 2010 but goes back more than 60 years. The original family business operated as MGM Transport and built a stellar reputation for quality and service while transporting merchandise across the U.S. and Canada. Massood Logistics was the brainchild of Edward Massood but has been managed from its inception by Tara Massood, his daughter, who has spent her lifetime in and around the furniture transport industry as well as working in the family’s retail home furnishing stores.
