Luxury furniture producer Sherrill Furniture has launched a #ChristmasWithSherrill campaign celebrating the craftsmen and customers who have made 2020 a great success for the company.
The celebration kicks off the week of December 7th with a national ad featuring craftspeople from across the company’s four manufacturing locations in the Hickory, NC area. Throughout the month of December, the #ChristmasWithSherrill Sweepstakes will run on Instagram as social media posts feature employees and their stories. The event will be capped off by gifting-away $1200 across the 12 days leading up to Christmas.
“The Christmas With Sherrill campaign is all about celebrating the talented people behind the scenes who make this company and the furniture industry great,” says Dax Allen, vice president of marketing. “The social photo and gift-away event is just a fun way to let everyone in furniture celebrate with us, and getting to gift-away $100 to 12 winners at Christmas makes it even more fun for us.”
To participate in the ChristmasWithSherrill sweepstakes follow these 3 steps to play:
1. Follow @sherrill_furniture on Instagram
2. Post a favorite Holiday Décor Photo
3. Tag #christmaswithsherrill and @sherrill_furniture
“We are extremely thankful for every one of the more than 1,000 employees that came together day after day during such a challenging year to deliver great quality, American Made furniture, and service to our customers,” says Thad Monroe, president of Sherrill Furniture Companies.
Chris Owensby has worked at Motioncraft for almost 17 years. He primarily works in the spring up department, but his hunger to learn as much as he can led him to be able to build frames, load the line, pull stock, 8-way-hand-tie, and more.
“Whenever I build furniture here, I always build it as if I’m going to put it in my own house. That’s how I’ve always looked at it. That’s the quality we should be putting out every day,” says Owensby.
Another craftsman, Dean Elder, was born and raised in the foothills of North Carolina. He has worked in the furniture industry in the Hickory area for most of his life. He currently runs the new carton machine at Hickory White, where he handles the specs and measurements and makes the cardboard packaging used for all case goods.
The #ChristmasWithSherrill campaign was conceived as a way for the company to show how thankful they are for the craftsmen and customers who were a bright light in a dark and challenging year.
