NY NOW has announced the dates for the Winter 2021 Digital Market Week, which will run Jan. 28 – Feb. 3, 2021, and a Summer 2021 in-person Market, slated for Aug. 8-11, 2021, at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City.
“NY NOW sets the stage for our industry and we look forward to being reunited at the Javits Center. 2020 does not get any easier, but, with positive news about a vaccine, we are optimistic that we will all be able to meet in-person in August 2021. We are also very excited to see the Digital Market become the online companion to our in-person offering and explore the potential created by the combination of digital and face-to-face,” said Tim Hart, SVP, NY NOW.
The Digital Market is a 365 platform that meets the year-round sourcing, replenishment and exploration needs of buyers. Following its successful launch on Saturday, Oct. 3, with five Live Show Days of discovery, exploration, and content, NY NOW will host its Winter Digital Market Week Thursday, Jan. 28, through Wednesday, Feb. 3. Winter Market Week is an opportunity for real-time connections between buyers and brands, exclusive show specials, new product introductions, and industry networking among peers. It will feature a full program of engaging content and live experiences and provide buyers with an elevated experience fueled by the excitement of refreshing their assortments by exploring tens of thousands of products made in more than 60 countries.
“Digital extends the reach of our entire community and brings new brands, new buyers and new connections on to our stage. Just as you’d expect from NY NOW, the Digital Market is a diverse and eclectic collection of Brands + Makers, including companies from over 50 countries. It is that aggregation of players from across the lifestyle spectrum that fuels discovery and supports our buyers’ creativity. And that discovery will become so much more powerful as digital and in-person converge. Buyers will have the opportunity to research and plan on the Digital Market in advance and then connect with new and tried and true brands in-person – all supported by one seamless technology platform.”
