Utah-based bedding accessories and furniture provider Malouf has hired Matthew Croshaw to lead strategies for organizational design and effectiveness, along with talent development.
Having recently surpassed 700 employees, the executive team at Malouf recognized the need for a focus on structure and organizational effectiveness. Croshaw joined Malouf after 17 years with Parker Hannifin, a Fortune 250 global leader in motion and control technologies.
“Our strength has always been our people—both our employees and our retail partners,” said Sam Malouf, CEO and founder. “When our employees are treated well and given a chance to excel, they better support our partners. We are so excited Matt has joined our team because he understands the relationship between those two tenants, and he will work to ensure it isn’t lost as we scale.”
Croshaw’s experience has adeptly prepared him to support the Malouf team as they undergo rapid growth. During his tenure at Parker, Croshaw demonstrated a consistent track record of partnering with business leaders from a wide range of diversified industrial and aerospace markets to craft strategies to improve employee engagement, enhance customer experiences, profitably grow the business, and operationally and financially excel. The focus of his efforts included building sustainable practices to increase talent and leadership strength throughout Parker’s 49-country, 50,000-employee footprint.
“Malouf has an incredible core, and their development from 2003 is remarkable,” said Croshaw. “My goal is to crystalize a strategy that keeps us agile and leverages our competitive advantages. We’re going to ensure that employees continue to be treated well—with chances to shine in success and learn from failures—so they can continue to support our partners.”
