Mattress Doctor Hosts 3rd Animal Rescue Event

Louisiana bedding retailer Mattress Doctor Lafayette has announced its upcoming charity event, supporting Precious Paw Prints Animal Rescue, scheduled for Nov. 14 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
“In Louisiana, there is a huge problem of overcrowding in our shelters and all intakes have 30 days to get adopted, or else they are scheduled to be put down,” said Whitney Mike Segura, co-owner. “When a hurricane hits, as we've had two major ones this year already, overcrowding peaks even further. It's a real problem.”
Along with facilitating multiple dog adoptions, co-owners Whitney Mike Segura and Stewart Segura have raised over $3,000 for local community rescues during their previous March and July animal rescue events.
