Hooker Furniture Unveils Cascade Collection

Hooker Furniture has announced the launch of its Cascade Collection, a 57-piece assortment of bedroom, dining room, occasional, entertainment and home office pieces.

Headlining the company’s introductions this Fall, the modern collection is positioned at very affordable price points a move the company says helps broaden and balance the scope of its product line.

“Cascade’s combination of price and style positions us to become more relatable to younger consumers, a key demographic that will soon have one of the largest stakes in buying power,” said Tim O’Hare, senior vice president of merchandising and design for Hooker Furniture case goods.

Characterized by its light and airy neutral color palette, the collection is presented in three finishes: a soft taupe called Terrain, a lacquered burlap finish called Pebble Beach and Chalk, a cast resin in a sandblasted pine motif. A variety of mixed materials including oak, metal accents and champagne-tone hardware add to the collection’s modern styling that can easily find its way into a variety of interiors across the country. The Cascade Collection was designed to spark Zen, tranquility and calmness in any living space.

“The collection’s namesake, Cascade, was inspired by the intentional flow match oak veneer on the front of many of the silhouettes that ‘cascade’ across the pieces,” said O’Hare. “In a fast-paced world that never seems to stop moving, Cascade was designed to inspire us all to slow down for a moment and create a place of retreat in the most important place for us all – our homes.”

Two styles anchor the bedroom collection, including a panel and a sleigh bed. Featured in Terrain, the headboard and footboard of the panel bed include champagne metal inlays. The sleigh bed is defined by its lacquered burlap Pebble Beach finish, that is paired with Terrain around the perimeter. Additional bedroom pieces include four nightstand designs, two six-drawer chests, two six-drawer dressers and a four-drawer bachelor’s chest.

Two dining table styles including a rectangular and a pedestal table highlight the pieces in the dining category. The rectangular table is finished in Terrain and features a refined, modern style. The pedestal table is defined by its unique base that interjects a retreat-style to any dining space. Dining chair options include a more traditionally-styled exposed wood arm and side chair with an upholstered seat. Storage pieces include a server, display cabinet and four credenza styles.

Highlights of the occasional, home office and entertainment pieces include an accent chair with a unique cutout back, three console tables, three end tables, three cocktail tables, an entertainment console, a writing desk and a filing cabinet with a bookcase hutch.
