ICFA Names 2020 Award Finalists

Five manufacturers of outdoor furnishings have been named finalists for the International Casual Furnishings Association’s 2020 Manufacturer of the Year Award. 

The 2020 Manufacturer of the Year honorees include:

• Lloyd Flanders
• O.W. Lee
• Telescope Casual Furniture
• Treasure Garden
• Tropitone

The five companies were selected for ICFA’s Manufacturer Leadership Award after online nominations in August among ICFA’s membership. The finalists were selected based on the overall design and quality of their products, along with their merchandising, customer service, ethics, communications and trade relations.

The finalists for the 2020 Sales Representative of the Year include:

• Joe Crandall, Marietta, Ga.
• Dave Digirolamo, Dublin, Calif.
• Phil Fowler, Wilmington, Del.
• Ed Joseph, Seattle, Wash.
• Carmen Squadrito, Wake Forest, N.C.

The award recognizes an outstanding sales representative within the casual furnishings industry. Finalists were selected based on leadership, professionalism, exceptional service, communication skills, knowledge and product training expertise.

From among the 11 category winners in ICFA’s Design Excellence competition, two products will be selected for the Lilly Award for Outdoor Furniture and Outdoor Accents, and one product will be honored with the Lillian B. Winchester “Best of Show” Award.

Entrants for the Design Excellence competition must be exhibitors at Casual Market Chicago at the Merchandise Mart. Eligible designs are slated for introduction in the marketplace at the upcoming trade exhibition and must represent exceptional design innovation and technical product innovation in the category. The September 23 virtual ICFA Awards Gala will bring together all segments of the outdoor furnishings industry to recognize the top retail stores, manufacturers and sales representatives. Products receiving the industry’s Design Excellence Awards will be spotlighted, along with the two Lilly Awards for Outdoor Furniture and Outdoor Accents, plus the Lillian B. Winchester “Best of Show” design award.
