International Market Centers (IMC) has announced that its exclusive TrendWatch program will highlight 120+ products from more than 70 exhibitors through a series of half-hour CEU-accredited webinars and a free digital “flip book” in advance of the upcoming High Point Market, running Oct. 13 – Oct. 21. IMC’s three directional trends for Fall Market are TOUCH POINTS, POD and PROLOGUE.
“IMC is committed to providing designers and buyers relevant and timely trend information whether it be virtually or in-person,” said Dorothy Belshaw, chief customer and marketing officer for IMC. “TrendWatch’s directional insights will play an important role in helping our customers plan for recovery both now and in the future.”
The TrendWatch webinars will be presented by program curator and 24-year magazine editor Julie Smith Vincenti. All three sessions will be from 1 to 1:30 p.m. (EST): TrendWatch Fall 2020 Part 1: TOUCH POINTS (Sept. 23); TrendWatch Fall 2020 Part 2: POD (Sept. 30) and TrendWatch Fall 2020 Part 3: PROLOGUE (Oct. 7). “Consumers’ focus on the home has been a certainty in these extraordinary times, whether they have been updating decor, managing a full-on remodel, or moving because they landed a compelling mortgage rate,” explains Smith Vincenti. “This season’s installment of TrendWatch is in synch with these motivations.”
TOUCH POINTS is a captivating presentation of furnishings that can redefine a room and possibly alter mood. Corresponding exhibitor products include: Amity Home’s Hudson wool/viscose loop-pile area rug with hatch mark pattern; Arteriors’ Deborah mirror with chiseled black marble crowns; Global Views’ Deco console with beguiling golden finish; Jaipur’s Kaz wool pillow from the Angora Collection; and Kenneth Cobonpue’s Dragon's Tail folded paper table lamp.
POD considers the work- and study-from-home trends. Corresponding exhibitor products include: Camerich’s Lola sofa bed; Hooker Furniture’s Gamlin armless power recliner; Spectra Home’s Newport conversational sectional with performance-grade canvas; and TRRA’s modern walnut wood Nicho desk.
PROLOGUE imagines the evolving style preferences of Millennials.
