Pavoni Collection by Kelly Hoppen Exemplifies “The Perfect Neutrals” in Textured Leather

Combining Kelly’s passion for neutrals and expertise in using dynamic textures with Pavoni’s experience and quality leathers, The Perfect Neutrals collection by Kelly Hoppen fuses leathers with a variety of fabric textures to create breathtaking and unique pieces. The collection is a unique bespoke custom concept in leather, whereby the designer can mix any color, texture or finish across the range. The collection showcases 20 distinctive textures over a range of 50 neutrals. The wide range of shades, from French Grey Dark and Moleskin to Mother of Pearl and Sandstone, offers a variety of colors to match any and all design schemes.

This collection continues Kelly’s trademark sophisticated East Meets West aesthetic while also offering dimension and creativity. Custom pieces are also available, allowing endless creativity and providing a personal touch for the client.

The Perfect Neutrals collection combines diverse materials to create stunning and unique textures, expanding beyond the traditional look and feel of leather. The selection of textures are:

Embossed Designs— Textiles, traditional woven cane work and natural plant material textures are blended with leather to create 8 unique finishes.

Circles and Squares—Featuring ancient geometric shapes carved into leather on a backdrop of linen, this element of the collection exudes a clean and sophisticated yet luxurious style.

Pleats, Fold and Ripples—Expertly manipulated in a way usually reserved for fabrics only, in these pieces the finest Italian leather flows beautifully in a variety of patterns.

Plaited—Inspired by the classic and luxurious Venetian weave technique, this design elevates the woven pattern to a grander scale, and is available in leather straps of 4, 8 or 10cm wide.

Chainmail—The chainmail style is available in three options: ‘Rope’, ‘Chainmail Square’ and ‘Chainmail Circle’. These designs are intricately woven to give an exceptional elegance and out-of-the-box finish.

Polish and ZigZag—A new state of the art method of fine laser incisions has been used here to bring the leather hides alive, creating the modern sophisticated ‘Polished’ look and the look of fine embroidery in our ‘ZigZag’.

Speaking about the collection, Kelly said, “I was so excited when Pavoni asked to collaborate. With such a beautiful collection of leathers and suedes, I was thrilled to build on Pavoni leather's incredible wealth of knowledge to curate and design a range of tactile pieces in all my favorite neutral shades. I am beyond proud of this collaboration and I hope other designers will feel inspired to push the boundaries when using textures.”

Pavoni’s Alan Newberry explains how the collaboration came about. “Having returned from Shanghai l was scrolling through Kelly’s Instagram account when l saw a stunning project Kelly had completed in Shenzhen. l spontaneously sent [her] a message to invite her to work on a new leather concept and the results of our collaboration on the Pavoni Collection by Kelly Hoppen has evolved into an incredibly fine and unique range that we feel honored to launch.”
