Moe’s Home Collection Promotes Seth King to VP of Sales

Retailer and wholesaler Moe’s Home Collection has announced Seth King as its new vice president of sales.

The appointment comes alongside the launch of the company’s new transactional website, set to be live early September, as well as the opening of an American flagship location, downtown Seattle, Wash. on Sept. 4.

King is a west coast native from Portland and now resides in Atlanta, Ga. After a 10-year stretch as the former vice president of sales for Surya Rugs, King joined Moe’s Home in 2017 as director of sales.

“Seth has been a very valuable member of the Moe’s Team over the past several years and has been a big contributing factor of recent growth. We are thrilled to promote him to vp of sales to see him take on more responsibilities, including managing all of Moe’s B2B sales,” said Moe Jr. Samieian, president of wholesale.

As a company that has evolved with its client and customer base, Moe’s Home Collection sells products across all categories and design styles, including Scandinavian, modern, mid-century modern, contemporary, industrial, and rustic art deco, and retro varieties. With soon to be six locations across the U.S., including licensee stores and warehouses in Alaska, South Dakota, New York, and Washington state, the company is  anticipating a successful year despite the ongoing pandemic.

“It’s been a great experience watching the evolution of Moe’s Home positively surge over the few years I’ve been with them,” said King. “Watching my team and the internal team grow and strengthen their vision towards a common goal has been very exciting. The driving culture of our success being our overall alignment of course, but also the leadership in place, everyone’s attention to detail, the product mix and the investment in new products and inventory – It’s really a company you feel fully supported by and we all know how much potential lays within that mentality.”

King will continue to oversee Moe’s Home’s team of 30+ sales reps on the road internationally, as well as work towards expanding their internal sales team to fortify sales goals and strengthen the Moe’s Home message.
