Eclipse International has announced a new 12-model lineup with mattresses to retail from $399 to $999 in queen. The program is supported by drop-shipping services direct from the factory to consumers.
“Sleep e-tailing is no longer relegated to the online marketing companies; it has now become a critical part of selling for brick and mortar retailers. We’ve been pushing our retail partners to develop an omnichannel approach to selling for some time now, and our new, comprehensive boxed bed program arms them with a full merchandising program to support their efforts,” said Stuart Carlitz, president and chief executive officer of Eclipse International. “Our program offers a broad range of designs and comfort feels so that consumers will be able to find their perfect sleep solution – none of this one-size-fits-all nonsense.”
During the three months of the COVID-19 pandemic in the U.S., Eclipse International’s facility in New Jersey has seen a sharp uptick in orders from members of its retail network that have developed vibrant e-commerce sites. Since the mostly nationwide shutdown of retail, consumers have turned to online shopping for most of their needs, including new mattresses. That shift will likely continue, and the expanded boxed bed offering from Eclipse offers retailers a broad range of price points to reach a wide range of consumer budgets.
The new boxed mattress designs from Eclipse International feature all-foam options, as well as several hybrid models to meet the growing demand in that category. Mattresses in the collection feature a broad range of components including latex, 2.5 high resilient support foams, Tencel and phase-change textiles are used throughout the collection.
Eclipse will either drop-ship the boxed beds directly to consumers on behalf of the retailers or ship the product to stores for the retailers to complete the delivery process or to allow for in-store, consumer pick up.
