IDS Scholarship Applications Due Aug 3rd

The Interior Design Society’s Student Scholarships, offered to eligible candidates who have been accepted for admission and declared in an Interior Design related major at a fully accredited college or university, are due by Aug. 3, 2020.
The application can be found here.
The average award is $1,000 and the funds must be used for tuition and will be paid directly to the college or university.
All applications require the documentation outlined below. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
- A one-to-two page typed essay on what influenced you to pursue a career in interior design. Which area(s) of interior design do you want to specialize in and why?
- Completed application signed by student.
- Sealed, official college or university transcript.
Completed applications can be mailed to IDS with the
required documentation. Candidates may also email their application to Jenny Cano, executive director: jcano@interiordesignsociety.org.
Applicants will be notified via email of successful delivery.
All applications will be reviewed by the IDS Scholarship Committee, which is comprised of IDS Members including interior designers and industry professionals. The recipient will be notified no later than August 31, 2020.
